The main feature of F3R is a quality/price ratio that no other car of the same segment can offer. Current market conditions are showing that drivers and teams are interested in quality and cutting-edge products, but are also very budget- conscious. The area where we can work for the future is the search for more uniformity in terms of performance among the different series, with the idea of creating some events where the best of the various championship can run together and be compared, a little like with the previous generation of the F3 at Zandvoort and Macau. I'm convinced that Macau should gather the best drivers of various series around the world, and should also provide a comparison between different chassis and engines, put in a position to compete with similar performances. I don't believe much in the current Macau GP format with the International F3 car. In the not too distant future, I see a chance to compete there with the best drivers of the European, Asian and US regional championships». What should we expect in the future? Are the schedules changing? «The F3 panorama is constantly evolving, the change imposed by the FIA is slowly getting into full swing and consequently the various series at world level are adapting to the new scenario. For the near future, F3 Asia will try to enter a new market segment by carrying out its “Main Series" during the winter. The success of the 2019 Winter Series showed strong interest from European drivers and teams towards the Asian championship, and at the same time, the Asian drivers saw the Winter Series as an opportunity to run against the best drivers of the European championships without having to go to Europe. Besides, the latest FIA directives regarding Super License points created an interesting market window for F3 Asia. The new FIA regulation enables drivers to score Super License points in two separate championships during the same calendar year if the calendars are not overlapping. Taking advantage of Asia’s favourable climate conditions, F3 Asia can offer multiple advantages. A package of events held on important tracks, run while the major European and Japanese series are stopped for their winter breaks. At the same time, it can guarantee the chance to score a significant amount of Super License points which is vital for drivers aiming for Formula 1. It is an experiment that we want to try for 2020. We are convinced that the idea can attract great consensus from teams and drivers. If the FIA regulations will remain unchanged in the coming seasons, we want to make the F3AC the benchmark series during the wintertime».
