34 "The FT-60 is a state-of-the-art car, with the most power and downforce ever in our championship. We hope to attract even more international talent," explained Nicolas Caillol, general manager of the Toyota Racing Series. "They can come from F4, F3, W Series or any other category of the same rank. Participation can also be useful for those who have already reached a higher step in the F1 climb, but want to get extra points for Superlicense or further refine your skills". The champion will be awarded seven Superlicense points, and with the FIA that in the June World Council has more regulated the award criteria during a single year, in these weeks the Toyota Racing Series has seen further increase its appeal. "We already received enormous interest for 2020 thanks to the new machinery and the new Superlicense rules", confirmed Caillol. The series is also looking at America with a close partnership with the Road to Indy program, that includes USF2000, Indy Pro 2000 (both using Tatuus chassis) and Indy Lights. The top three in each category will receive a financial contribution to register for the next TRS, while those who will enter the full 2020 Toyota Racing Series will have free access to a test session in one of the three US championships. After all, Scott Dixon, five- time winner in IndyCar, comes from New Zealand.
