14 by Massimo Costa For the first time in its history, BhaiTech entered two championships, both with Tatuus cars. How did you rate the new Renault machinery and which kind of step is needed compared to the F4? «The new Renault car is a good car, certainly very different from the old Renault 2.0. It is in all respects a new-generation car with all the new safety specifications prescribed by the FIA, which affected the weight, dimensions and consequently the performance of the car. Like all new categories, the start is never easy, everything got in motion a little late, starting with the delivery of the cars and the installation of the new Renault engine. Obviously, during the season there were some technical issues that Renault, Tatuus and Oreca promptly fixed. Let's not forget that even in F2 there have been quite a few issues when the new car arrived. In my opinion, the new Renault car is the perfect step between F4 and FIA F3. The driver has an opportunity to compete in a very high- level championship but, above all, he has the chance to run on most of the circuits that he will then face in the other categories, for example, Spa, Silverstone, Abu Dhabi and the fantastic Monte Carlo.» Was it difficult for BhaiTech to manage two championships? What was the plan? «Starting with a new category is never easy, we had to organize a team from scratch starting from the equipment, the transportation and the technical staff. We basically wanted to create two teams, one for F4 and one for F. Renault, in order to put up our best effort in both categories. During the winter we worked hard to get everything ready and operational for the first event. Everything went in the right direction without too many complications, so we are happy.» The interview/ Nicolò Gaglian - Bhaitech «Eurocup and F4, a quality pairing» Nicolò Gaglian is the young Team Principal of BhaiTech Racing, a top-class squad that, in addition to entering the F4 Italia series, made a jump to Formula Renault Eurocup in 2019. It has been a new challenge and not the easiest one, but BhaiTech quickly got the nod of the situation scoring podiums and good placings with Federico Malvestiti and Petr Ptacek. Thanks to the new Tatuus racecars, the challenge has exciting future prospects in terms of safety and performance Ptacek was able to see the solidity of his Tatuus
