The project is led by Team Manager Josep Trinidad, who lined-up Xavier Lloveras (who had starred in 2016 and 2017) in the final round of the Spanish Formula 4 Series at Navarra. After a positive beginning, the Barcelona-based squad confirmed its commitment to the national championship, adding a Formula Renault Eurocup program to fully embrace the Tatuus- machinery. "I started working in motorsports in 1996 - Trinidad says - moving two years later to the Open Fortuna by Nissan, ancestor of the World Series. In 2000, I joined Dallara, a company where I stayed until the creation of GP2 in 2005, while remaining with the Euro Open by Nissan. After a stint in the Formula 1 feeder series, I became the team manager of AVF by Adrián Vallés in the World Series». How Global Racing Service was started? «Last year we had the opportunity to inherit two Formula 4 cars from a team that shut its doors mid-season. We managed to enter the last round of the Spanish F4 championship with Xavi Lloveras, immediately showing that we had good speed with two second places in four races». In 2019 you made a big jump to the Formula Renault Eurocup... «We were among the eight teams chosen to enter the first season of the new Eurocup. We decided to continue the collaboration with Lloveras, and we added a second car for Alessio Deledda. We chose to field only two drivers, confident of their commitment throughout the season».
