24 F4 Spanish Championship A year to remember The Spanish Formula 4 Championship ended its best‐ever season in terms of general quality and car count. The championship went to Dutchman Haverkort, while Boja and Ten Brinke impressed too by Mattia Tremolada T ehe 2020 season was with no doubt the most positive since its 2016 inception for the Spanish Formula 4 Championship. The positive notes came in terms of car counts, with eighteen cars on average at the start, and overall quality with several interesting prospects entering the international single‐seater panorama. One above all, champion Kas Haverkort, was the real dominator with MP Motorsport, which was once again the leading team with five drivers in the top five positions of the final standings. Despite the eight podiums achieved, Ten Brinke had to wait for the last race of the season to finally break through to victory. The win was key to prevail Joshua Dufek at a tiebreaker in the standings, as the Swiss driver never stood on the top step of the podium.
