31 as they have lost several sponsors. In 2021, the situation won't be different, because I believe that companies will wait to see how the financial situation evolves before investing in sponsorships. Fortunately, in our case most of the drivers are gentleman drivers, racing with their own money and for their own personal enjoyment. They are not doing it for a living and therefore need the support of sponsors. In that case, we would have had even more troubles and for sure fewer starters. I would say that our championship is made of up to 70% amateurs, while the remainder is young drivers who have little budget to race and who choose our category because of its value for money, which is unbeatable. As an example, only the entry fee to race with an LMP3 car in the European Le Mans Series is three or four times higher than in the Ultimate Cup, which is an excellent platform to prepare for the ELMS itself and possibly for the 24 hours of Le Mans". How the Ultimate Cup weekends unfold? “We have both sprint and endurance races. The pinnacle of sprint racing is the series for single‐seaters, where the new Tatuus T‐318s, equipped with a Renault engine developed by Oreca, debuted this year. Alongside the F3R racecars, the old Tatuus of FR 2.0 can compete with a separate classification, and it's still running strong, very much liked by our drivers, who compete in three 20‐minute races every weekend. This year we have decided to create a sprint championship for GT cars as well because many of our competitors cannot afford to compete in the endurance series. We got a lot of acclaims, and the format with three one‐hour races was a great success. From next year, this championship will also welcome the Peugeot 308 Cup trophy, since the brand decided to include its single‐make series in our weekends. As for endurance racing, we have the GT Endurance, with two main categories for GT3 and GT4 cars. There is one race with a length of 3 or 4 hours. Last but not least, there is a category for Prototypes, where LMP3, CN, Radical and many more cars are admitted. We will change format next year, moving to two 1‐hour races, because it is cheaper for teams to run two shorter races than just one for 2 or 3 hours."
