25 Browning, Bernier exit defeated High expectations were on Luke Browning and Victor Bernier but the pair did not get the results expected. After winning the British F4 Championship, Browning signed with US Racing, quickly getting chemistry with the Tatuus racecar and European tracks. The British racer missed out in terms of qualifying, with his two wins coming in reverse‐grid races. Too little to aim for the title. On the other hand, Bernier won at Hockenheim, benefitting from Bernier’s penalty. Kirill Smal and Sebastian Montoya were not among the title contenders. After starring in the first couple of events, the PREMA Powerteam drivers decided to prioritize the Italian championship. They said goodbye to the series with a 1‐2 finish at Zandvoort, where Smal ended up in front of Montoya. On the other hand, the Colombian‐American was on the podium in three races out of six. A speedy start for Dunne Despite joining the championship in the middle part of the season, Alex Dunne impressed with his speed driving a US Racing‐prepared car. After taking pole in the inaugural Spanish Formula 4 event, the Irishman made the switch to the German series at Hockenheim. That weekend ended with two second places. In the following event, also at Hockenheim, Dunne claimed the two pole positions on offer, but was not impeccable at the start and had to fight back in the races. Dunne once again proved quick at Nürburgring by securing two fastest laps. Oliver Bearman Tim Tramnitz
