Was it proof of how much they believe in the series? "I think both of them evaluated that this was the best season to enter in order to gain experience and collect important data ahead of 2022. The next season will be the first with the Gen‐2 Formula 4 cars. I think it was a good decision because both have been competitive since the beginning, winning several races and laying the foundations for a successful 2022 season.” What were the deciding factors for them to join the championship? "Without a doubt, the competitive balance and the low cost for the season. We are able to offer drivers a competitive package on the market, with reasonable prices for a full testing and championship schedule, which is similar for all competitors. In addition, the 2021 calendar was well‐structured and had a good balance as well. For the next season, we decided to keep the same events, with a few adjustments to improve the logistics for the teams."
