22 Italian F4 Championship Codename T-421 The new era for the Italian series started with a dominating performance by Prema, led by Andrea Kimi Antonelli and Rafael Camara. The Italian squad went from win to win and cruised to the top end of the standings I n 2014, it was the world's first Formula 4 series, and in 2022, it began its new era. After eight years of honored service, the Italian Formula 4 Championship powered by Abarth retired the Tatuus T‐014 car that inaugurated the category, to make way for the new T‐421, a major upgrade, especially from a safety point of view. The highlight is the introduction of the Halo system, already installed on the Regional T‐318 car, and side intrusion panels. The new chapter began with the domination of the Prema team. After coming out of 2021 empty‐handed, the team regained the series leadership by quickly coming to grips with the second‐ generation car. The Italian operation netted ten victories with Andrea Kimi Antonelli and Rafael Camara while Alex Dunne and Kacper Sztuka won in the opening round at Imola for the US by Mattia Tremolada
