Spanish F4, nowone of the most excellent championships at international level, boasted 30 cars at the start of the last few rounds W With eight wins in the last eight races, Nikola Tsolov has taken the lead in the Spanish Formula 4 Championship. In 2022, the arrival of the brand‐new Tatuus T‐421 racecar breathed new life into the series, which made a fundamental leap in terms of quality by completing the growth path experienced the last few seasons, boosted by the ever‐ increasing competitive level of teams and drivers. With the additions of teams like Campos, Teo Martin, and Pinnacle in 2021, the Spanish series welcomed three more new outfits this year, with the debut of Sainteloc, a top‐class runner in rally and GT competitions, Cram Motorsport, an Italian team that already achieved wins in the Italian and UAE F4 championships, and a new combination between Monlau and Van Amersfoort Racing, the latter being the reigning champion in the Italian and German championships. After a valuable learning year, which saw them capture the vice‐ champion title in both the team and driver championships, the Campos team established itself at the top of the series with Tsolov and the experienced Hugh Barter.
