27 Kucharczyk keeps fighting After joining Fernando Alonso's A14 Management and the Alpine Academy at the beginning of the season, Tsolov established himself as a single‐lap specialist, claiming ten of the twelve pole positions up for grabs, often by a wide margin. After a few mistakes due to the lack of experience in the first races, the Bulgarian driver delivered an impressive sequence of eight consecutive victories between Jerez, Valencia, and Spa‐Francorchamps. In Belgium, Tsolov had to fight hard for victory, but he managed to hold off teammate Barter, who, after winning the opening race of the season, became Tsolov's closest competitor, two points ahead of Kucharczyk. Winner of the Richard Mille Young Talent Academy, the Pole took five podiums in the first five races of the year but was unable to keep the pace with Tsolov. Kucharczyk has emerged as the most consistent driver from the defending champion MP Motorsport team, but the experienced Smal, Suleiman Zanfari, and Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak also scored at least one podium each. They are all competing in points. Georg Kelstrup is splitting them with the third Campos: he has been one of the most consistent of the bunch, missing the points zone on only two occasions. Valerio Rinicella impressed among rookies with two third places in Jerez and Spa‐Francorchamps while Robert De Haan gave the VAR‐Monlau pairing its first podium in the series in Belgium.
