42 IndyPro Foster in the lead A runner‐up in the Euroformula Open championship, the British racer found a perfect fit with the American‐run Tatuus race cars and is now leading the series by Mattia Tremolada F rom ending as a runner‐up in Euroformula to leading the Indy Pro 2000 championship, Louis Foster's choice to migrate from Europe to the United States looks like a successful move. The British driver quickly cruised to the lead on the second step of the Road to Indy ladder. For 2022 the series brought in an upgraded car, featuring the introduction of the Halo system like in USF2000. After a convincing start with three podiums in the first four races, Foster suffered a couple of setbacks but started recovering starting with race 3 at the Indianapolis road course. At the legendary venue, Foster secured the first of three consecutive victories that took him to the top of the points charts. The second win came in his debut on an oval track, the Lucas Oil Raceway located just outside Indianapolis in Freedom 90.
