The Briton spun off and retired, while Michelisz was able to continue in second position. One lap later, Tarquini handed the lead to his teammate; behind them Nicky Catsburg and Daniel Haglöf made contact, which elevated Muller and Björk to third and fourth. RACE 3 - SECOND VICTORY FOR MULLER IN A CHAOTIC RACE At the start Muller and Yann Ehrlacher led the field. In the middle of the pack there was first a collision between Vervisch, Néstor Girolami, Haglöf and Jean-Karl Vernay. Then, a couple of turns later, Vervisch hit Michelisz and sent him into Priaulx’s car that spun and rejoined while Michelisz retired. The safety car was deployed and circulated until the fifth lap. When racing resumed, Mehdi Bennani hit Tiago Monteiro’s car, that crashed into the pit wall, prompting the safety car back into action and during the neutralization, Guerrieri pulled up with some technical issues. When racing resumed, Tarquini passed Augusto Farfus for P3. Over the last three laps the positions didn’t change. Muller won from Ehrlacher, Tarquini and Farfus. The next event of WTCR will be on October 25th/27th at Suzuka.
