Pither, with a new engine, Morcom and O’Keeffe started from the back and began to recover, but again the Alfa Romeo betrayed its driver and stopped with brake issues. On lap 4, Cameron snatched the lead from Brown who defended second position from the assaults of Cox and Moffat. Cameron built a comfortable margin and took his maiden win from Brown, Cox and Moffat. Morcom and Pither completed their brilliant recoveries to finish sixth and eighth respectively. The DG Sport Compétition Peugeot 308 finally hit the track after electronic bugs had confined it to its garage on Friday and Saturday; however Aurélien Comte couldn’t achieve any better than a 14th place.
