32 ENDURANCE Hyundai Motorsport cars dominated the TCR class of the ADAC 24 Hours at the Nürburgring Nordschleife (above) to take their first class victory at the famous event that was suspended for over 14 hours due to the weather conditions. The Elantra N shared by Marc Basseng, Manuel Lauck, Moritz Oestreich and the i30 N driven by Luca Engstler, Hendrik Still, Jean-Karl Vernay crossed the finish line in that order, split by only two tenths. One lap behind, in third position, came the Autohaus Fugel Honda Civic Type R of Tiago Monteiro, Néstor Girolami, Dominik Fugel and Cedrik Totz that had led the class after the disruption. The second round of the BEC6H series in Pärnu was won by the Noker Racing Team Volkswagen Golf GTI driven by Kęstutis Stasionis, Sten Piirimagi and Marius Slabosevičius. At Navarra, the opening event of the Campeonato de España Resistencia delivered TCR class victories for brorhers Rubén and Felipe Fernández (RC2 Junior Team, CUPRA Leon Competición) in Race 1 and Andorra’s lady Amalia Vinyes (Baporo Motorsport, CUPRA DSG) in Race 2 (above). The new TCR Ibérico Endurance visited Jarama and Estoril. Gustavo Moura and his Hyundai Elantra N run by GC24 Motorsport opened the score with a double victory in the inaugural event (left), but Daniel Teixeira answered at Estoril, winning both races in a JT59 Junior Team CUPRA TCR.
