NEZ6H

There was drama in the third round of

the NEZ6H series at Riga Bikernieki.

The battle for the TCR class involved

three Lithuanian teams: the

Volkswagen Golf GTI cars of Noker

Racing and Skuba Racing and the DHL

Racing CUPRA.

previous round in Finland and the

leaders in the standings, led the first

part of the race in the Noker Racing

Golf GTI; however they were forced to

top of the TCR standings, eight points

clear of Noker Racing.

The DHL Racing CUPRA, shared by

Zviedris, was classified third overall

and second in the class, only one lap

behind the winners. Third place went

to another CUPRA entered by the

Igoriolankai team that, after six hours

of racing, beat the Energizer Racing

Golf GTI by only seven tenths.

The Golf of the Finnish team Black

Rose Racing was eliminated by a racing

incident, while the CUPRA of Dream 2

Drive PRO lost several laps in the pits

while a ball-joint was replaced.

The final round of the NEZ6H series

will be at Pärnu on September

20th/22nd.

Skuba Racing Golf, who held onto first

position in TCR and finished second

overall behind a Lamborghini Huracan.
