ollowing an exciting
weekend at Oschersleben,
TCR Europe can now
enjoy several weeks of summer
break before a conclusion to
the season that promises to
be extremely hot. The final
two events of the year, on two
great tracks at Barcelona and
Monza, will certainly be worth
watching. While nothing is yet
decided in the battle for the
title, it must be acknowledged
that in Germany, Josh Files
put himself several steps
ahead of the competition. The
27-year-old Briton, took two
very valuable third places at
Oschersleben, which propelled
him to a 78-point lead in the
standings. While not being the
fastest on the technical
German track, Files took the
most out of the situation,
proving once again his
consistent and clever
approach that already
delivered him two TCR
Germany and one TCR Middle
East titles in the past.
