The last round of the Clio Cup Italia
season will be decided in the last round
of the season at Vallelunga but, at the
moment, Simone Iacone knows that his
only chance will be trying to do
everything he can to overturn the current
situation although desperate as it
appears. Anyway, Iacone will remember
this season as one of his biggest
satisfactions considering that the
Essecorse drivers had been away from
racing since 2011 and comebacks often
pose difficulties. Iacone performed
without an hitch since the opening race
of the season as he became, alongside
Oscar Nogues, one of the stars of the
2014 Clio Cup Italia championship.

I decided to support this new project,
where everything was yet to be
put on the table, so we could grow
together. It's definitely a captivating
challenge".
Things took a positive turn straight
away thanks to a win in Imola...
“Both the team and I immediately found
the right chemistry and the results came
quickly. It was something I didn't expect.
To be honest, I didn't have any particular
idea of how could it go. I started with a
calm approach, and together with the
team's personnel we joined this new
challenge with enthusiasm. It's a key
