The battle for the TCR Russia title will
be decided at the season finale at
Sochi on September 7th and 8th. That
was the verdict issued by the series’
two latest race meetings held in the
Moscow region.
Three-time champion Dmitry Bragin is
well placed to claim a fourth
consecutive crown as he leads the
standings with 191 points, but Kirill
Ladygin and Klim Gavrilov are closely
chasing him, 15 and 18 points behind.
That means there is also a three-way
fight for manufacturers between
Hyundai, LADA and Audi.

DOMINATES THE FIRST RACE
Gavrilov dominated the first race on the
refurbished racetrack at Myachkovo
airport, on the outskirts of Moscow. He
kept the advantage of pole position to
lead from of Bragin, Ivan Lukashevich
and Andrej Maslennikov.
The leading quartet had a relatively
quiet race, with sufficient gaps between
