Vries inboth races. They finished the first heat in
consistent fashionbefore facing eachother in a
spectacular Race2battle. At the endof lap1, Bonifacio
wiggled in thebendbefore theRivazza corner andwas
passedby his French rival. TheBrazilian took some laps
to recover, but finallymade it to the runner-up spot. On
theother hand, Gachet was able to celebrate a very
positiveweekend.

In a championshipwith somuchhistory yet towrite and
where everything canhappen, several drivers showcased
their skills. JackAitkenwas among themost impressive
menon-track, as he scored two fourthplaces. His solid
runs confirmed thepotential of both thedriver and the
FortecMotorsport team, as theBritish squad fielded
seven cars at Imola. DennisOlsen (PremaPowerteam)
andGeorgeRussell (KoiranenGP) alsodelivered some
good runs, asdidHansVillemi, who cameout of a
weekendwith a seventh and a fourthplace. On thenext
11thofMay theywill have agreat chance to steep their
name inhistory as theF.Renault ALPSwill be running at
thehistorical Pau street course.Whowill get thehighest
