GASLY SI CONFERMA
VAXIVIERE AL TOP
A Le Castellet, grande protagonista, ma ormai
non è una novità, è stato Gasly. Due volte secon-
do, una pole, il francese sta crescendo in fretta e
il terzo posto lo conferma. Soltanto un anno fa si
è laureato campione della Eurocup Renault…
Gasly grazie a quel trionfo di 12 mesi orsono era
entrato nel programma Red Bull e si è meritato
la conferma. Continua a sorprendere un altro
francese, Matthieu Vaxiviere, terzo e sesto. Par-
tito in sordina a inizio stagione, saltati due
appuntamenti per infortunio, il francese sta
dimostrando grande continuità e notevoli pro-
gressi. Anche Vaxiviere arriva dalla Renault 2.0
dove, però, aveva disputato un pessimo 2013.
Terzo in gara 2 Oliver Rowland, altro rookie in
arrivo dalla serieminore della Renault. Nella pri-
ma corsa ha pasticciato un po’ troppo, ma la sua
generosità è sotto gli occhi di tutti. Ritorno al ver-
tice per Sergey Sirotkin dopo l’incubo unghere-
se. Il russo si è piazzato quarto e settimo. Punti
anche per Luca Ghiotto che mancavano da Spa:
il vicentino ha chiuso settimo la prima gara.
