No more room
for low blows
Apart from the pure agonism, the last few races of the
Clio Cup Italia proved a little excessive and sometimes
resulted in unnecessary low blows. Some of the drivers
adopted a type of race craft that is not in line with the
style of the Clio Cup Italia and its promoter Fast Lane.
The sanctioning body already acted in the past against
who have a very individual interpretation of the sporting
rules. While a good show is needed the confines of
sportsmanship must never go beyond the limits. And
when that happens, it’s time for the referee to start
pulling our yellow, or maybe red cars. There won’t be any
concession from Monza and there won’t be room for
forgiveness in the Monza paddock. He who has ears to
hear, let him hear…
