From Acque to Piratella
it’s a real emotion
“Imola has always been a part of my life. Of course, the biggest reason to talk about it was
Formula 1 and everything around it. Imola is an historic track and I had the first taste of it in
2013. It’s been great to drive on the same asphalt where the F.1 greats raced and now I can
say that I did my part. It’s a particular circuit, very fast and technical. If the confidence it’s
good at the first sight, maybe you can think about going fast, but if you have a problem in
the first approach, then progressing becomes tough. I love the section that goes from Acque
Minerali to Piratella. It’s quick and up-and-down. Imola teaches you a lot because you find
many of its corners replicated in other circuits. Going through this elevation changes allows
you to straighten every detail in terms of driving. You also get use to manage the race
situations while you are reaching your limit”.
